My feet hurt

The last couple of days Angela and I have covered a lot of ground. Yesterday we went to the British Museum which was awesome. The collection of egyption artifacts they have is crazyness. We saw the actual rosetta stone and Cleopatra's mummy. They also had a large section with sculptures\statues from the Parthenon in Greece. Apparently there is some controversy over that particular collection because Greece wants all of "their" antiquities back. They feel that they were stolen and should now be returned for deisplay in the country of their origin. Obviously GB isn't having any of that. We went to the British Library today and saw things like the Magna Charta and several of Shakespeares earliest work. Then we went to the Globe Theater and saw Othello. It was pretty amazing. we got a £5 ground ticket and were right next to the stage leaning on it.

We did a lot of qalking exploring the Kensinton and Notting Hill area. Angela was disappointed that there wasn't an actual Notting Hill gate. We did meet a nice local named Ben at a coffee shop. He gave us some pointers on places to visit. He apparently is a "cheming gum" artist. He sits on the ground and paints pictures on those mashed in pieces of gum all over the sidewalk. He even gave us one of his pieces of art!

Anyways, this place is closing down so I gotta run. Off to Paris tomorrow!
